1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how TECH-1 TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles personal information. We are a Florida corporation (Document No. P98000028072) with principal address at 7203 W. Oakland Park Blvd, Suite B, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33313. Founded in 2013 by Hiroshi Tanaka, we provide custom iOS and Android application development.

By using our website, contact forms, client portals, or related services (“Services”), you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, discontinue use. Client apps we build for third parties are governed by those clients’ policies.

2. Information we collect

2.1 You provide

Name, company, title, email, phone, billing details (processed by payment partners where applicable), project specs, assets, communications, and account credentials for tools we operate for you.

2.2 Automatic

Device/browser data, logs, IP address, approximate location from IP, diagnostics, and usage analytics where enabled.

2.3 Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, analytics, and (where allowed) marketing. See Section 13.

2.4 Third-party sources

We may receive data from partners, social platforms (if you interact with us there), fraud-prevention vendors, and public registers.

3. How we use information

Marketing opt-out: use unsubscribe links or email [email protected].

4. Legal basis for processing (EEA/UK readers)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on contract, legitimate interests (secure operations, analytics balanced against your rights), consent when required, and legal obligation.

5. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We share data only with: service providers under contract (hosting, email, analytics, payments), professional advisers, acquirers in a merger (with notice where required), or when required by law or to protect rights. We may share de-identified aggregate data.

6. Third-party services

We may use analytics (e.g. Google Analytics), payment processors, cloud hosting, and collaboration tools. Their processing is governed by their policies and our agreements with them. We are not responsible for third-party sites you choose to visit.

7. Data security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the risk (e.g. TLS for transit, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Data retention

We retain information as needed for Services, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and legitimate business needs. Project records are typically kept for years consistent with tax/law requirements; marketing contacts until opt-out; logs for shorter periods unless longer retention is justified. We delete or anonymize when no longer needed, subject to legal holds.

9. Your rights under the CCPA (California residents)

California residents may request access, deletion, and correction, and may opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell personal information and do not share for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under CPRA). We will not discriminate for exercising rights. Submit requests via [email protected] (subject: “CCPA Request”) or call (650) 165-7530. We will verify your request as required by law.

10. Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the EEA/UK/Switzerland, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Contact [email protected] (subject: “GDPR Request”). You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

11. Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe we have done so in error.

12. International data transfers

We operate in the United States. If you access Services from abroad, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where we or our vendors operate. Where GDPR applies, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) as needed.

13. Cookie policy

Essential cookies enable core functionality. Analytics and preference cookies help us understand usage and remember settings. You can control cookies through your browser; blocking some cookies may affect site behavior. Third-party cookies are governed by those parties’ policies.

14. Do Not Track

There is no uniform DNT standard. We do not respond to all DNT signals but provide choices described in this Policy and in applicable consent tools where required.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy and will revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated via email or a site notice where appropriate.
